Как не дать навешать себе лапши?

Сейчас при переходе на сыроедение, на вегетарианство, на без-химию, еще на что то... . Я понимаю что мы себе шишек еще много наб"ем, запущеного много, а опыта мало у кого бы поучится.

К сожалению, сейчас у нашей семьи основной проблемой в оздоровлении стоит проблема познания. Существует бесконечная масса источников информации по оздоровлению, но как им можно доверять? Ведь здоровье - это последний наш оплот, и совершенно не хочется апробировать многочисленные методики на себе. Так ведь можно и того, что есть лишиться. Приходится все очень тщательно взвешивать, и все же пробовать, пробовать, пробовать...
Хотелось бы иметь хорошие инструменты познания, они, конечно, постепенно вырабатываются, но не так быстро, как этого хотелось бы. Итак, какие же первичные признаки недостоверности информации или ее притянутости за уши я выработал:
1. Текст очень эмоционален, однако фактами он совершенно не подкреплен. Эдакая социальная реклама данного метода/средства/образа жизни. В первые момента действует очень сильно, однако, отойдя личных переживаний можно заметить, что кроме лапши на ушах у вас ничего больше не прибавилось (некоторые отойти не могут, это т. н. зомбируемые люди - потенциальные клиенты различных явных и неявных сект).
2. Факты в тексте есть, однако их достоверность внушает сомнение. Например, вам говорят, что обезьяны едят только бананы. Вернее, даже так: "ученые доказали, что обезьяны едят только бананы". И все... Вы, конечно, верите - сказывается скрытое уважение ко всем ученым (известным и неизвестным), воспитаное нашим обществом. Однако вы (как и автор текста) совершенно забыли, что в интернете принято подкреплять аргументацию ссылками. Кстати, такой забывчивостью грешат практически все русские оздоровители. Сказывается высосаность из пальца большинства методов. А если не высосаность - то неподготовленость, легче вывалить все содержимое своей головы на читателя - нехай сам разбирается.
3. Факты есть, ссылки есть. Все, зашибись? Бежим пробовать? А через недельку узнаем о том, что автор совершенно "случайно" забыл привести одну ссылочку, а то не одну, а кучу... Т. е. информация представлена очень однобоко. Всегда после прочтения текста ищите критику данного автора/методики. Поверьте мне, вы будете очень поражены и, в большинстве случаев, разочарованы. Еще бы - многие очень нагло вешают лапшу.

Итак, читаем текст, ищем факты, смотрим источники, подтверждающие эти факты, после прочтения текста ищем критику. Все просто. Ну, конечно же, источники автора и источники критики также исследуем на достоверность, и их источники, и т. д., и т. п., процесс познания бесконечен.

Ах, да, совсем забыл, самый важный пункт:
0. Смотрим, кто автор, сколько ему лет, сколько лет он практикует на себе данную методику, чего он добился. По-моему, самый важный пункт, ведь мы выбираем автора своим ориентиром, учителем. Смешно смотреть, когда все открыв рот слушают человека, который 1 год практикует сыроедение и с пафосом рассуждает о том, как это здорово. Что с ним будет через 10 лет? 20? Доживет ли он до 60 лет? До 70? Не проявятся ли у него со временем болезни?
