Немного про фитнес
Нашим предкам не нужно было ходить в тренажерный зал. Физическая нагрузка являлась неотъемлемой частью их существования. Но чуть более 100 лет назад в результате индустриальной революции ручной труд начал постепенно вытесняться, что привело к радикальным переменам образа жизни.Проблема в том, что человеческий организм при этом совсем не изменился. Наше тело, как и прежде, нуждается в высокой физической активности. Поэтому когда мы мало двигаемся, то начинаем болеть, так как физиологические процессы протекают медленнее, чем положено. Гиподинамия - основная причина многих недугов: от сахарного диабета до заболеваний сердца и даже инсульта. Движение помогает сохранить здоровье, улучшить обмен веществ, в том числе жиров, глюкозы и инсулина.
До недавнего времени большинство специалистов сходились во мнении, что кардиоупражнения приносят пользу, если выполнять их по 20-60 минут без перерыва. Однако последние исследования американских ученых доказали, что даже 10-минутные нагрузки положительно влияют на обмен веществ, причем их оздоровительный эффект сопоставим с воздействием более длительных тренировок.
Уровень физической подготовки нередко связывают с весом, что в корне неверно. Быть в форме - довольно субъективное понятие, которое включает в себя силу, здоровье и хорошее самочувствие. Все это, как выяснилось, мало зависит от показаний стрелки весов. Конечно, тучность сопряжена с повышенным риском для здоровья. Медики продолжают спорить о том, можно ли уменьшить вероятность развития заболеваний только за счет физических упражнений, при этом не худея. Но все больше ученых склоняются к тому, что спорт полезнее похудания.Найдено в Shape.Наблюдения за 22 тысячами мужчин в возрасте от 30 до 83 лет, проведенные в одной из американских клиник, показали, что у полных людей, ведущих активный образ жизни, угроза смерти вдвое ниже, чем у худых, но не спортивных.
Кроме того, от лишнего веса быстро избавиться нельзя, а упражнения дают немедленный оздоровительный эффект. Возможно, информация об благоприятных свойствах физической нагрузки поможет изменить наши жизненные ценности.
